Anthony’s 2011 Subaru WRX
Anthony purchased his WRX in October 2011, and has been perfecting it in every way since then. Maybe what makes Anthony’s WRX so likeable is that it really does have a little bit of everything; from engine modifications and dress up, exhaust and fuel system mods, suspension work, wheels, big brakes and tires, as well as interior and exterior accents. It doesn’t have too much or too little of anything, it’s simple yet has all the right modifications to make the WRX perform exactly the way it should, and really lays the groundwork for a future big engine build.
Under the hood, Anthony’s got all the modifications to make the WRX drive that much better, and is built perfectly to be a reliable street performance car. Some of the parts Anthony has chosen are a COBB short ram intake and accessport, Process West top mount intercooler, Turbosmart Recirculator valve, NGK one step colder iridium spark plugs, Grimmspeed light weight crank pulley and electronic boost control solenoid, and an IAG street series air oil separator. All of these thoughful additions and upgrades are what make Anthony’s car run both smoothly and flawlessly. His engine dress up includes several IAG, Mishimoto, and Killer B accessories.
Similar to his engine modifications, Anthony has carefully chosen his exhaust components to keep his Subaru rumble while achieving just the right sound and performance results he wants to get out of his car. His exhaust system is comprised of all high quality parts, including an Agency Power unequal length header, Grimmspeed 44mm external wastegate uppipe, HKS catless downpipe, Nameless performance cat back, and Tial MVR 44mm external wastegate.
For handling and suspension, Anthony’s WRX is sitting on H&R street performance coilovers with a perfect amount of drop to make the car look sleek without sacrificing driveability. His Rays Gramlight 57DR’s wrapped in all season Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 tires are accented by a Brembo OE gold front and rear brake kit.
Interior and exterior pieces are what give Anthony’s car the finishing touches in both looks and performance. Inside you’ll find an SPT 52mm boost gauge, STI short throw shifter and shift knob, Blitz FATT advance turbo timer, GTSPEC carbon fiber steering wheel, and carbon fiber vinyl wrapped interior center console and radio trim. Anthony’s WRX is also fitted with an HT AUTOS bottom line lip kit, accented with JDM fanatic vinyl WRX fender emblems, and complete with Rally Armor urethane mud flaps.
Lately it’s been hard to find cars that really have thought and time spent on them. Anthony’s car is one of the exceptions, and its obvious in the careful consideration of parts that he has chosen for his WRX. If you know Anthony personally, you know he is enthusiastic and passionate about all that he does, and his car is no exception. We’ve watched his car transform over the last few years, and we know Anthony is far from done with his build. No Limit Motorsport is happy to have him part of the team, and we’re excited to see what comes next, and love what he has done so far. You can follow him on Instagram at @orbs45.
